ANSWER: In Southern England.

 

2. How was it used?

 

ANSWER: It was heated up and placed in a bag of cold water to make it boil.

 

3. We think the health of people improved when they started to cook meat.  Why was this?

 

ANSWER: Because it killed the germs and made it softer and easier to eat.
